Dr. M是一个秉持没事不要找他 不用一直meeting只要我们有on track就好 据他说“I'm busy too, have a lot of papers yet to be published.” 每次见面必说“Just bear in mind, I'm only your supervisor. You are the one who need to do the work, I only supervise.” 所以前期多少有点胆战心惊 尤其是第一个topic不能做第二个topic coordinator说不能做 然后我真的想不出来别的topic只好去见他 又很担心他觉得我很spoon fed时候 然后他说不然你去问问Dr. E 我知道他的postgrads有个project你可以跟他们合作啊 于是我说好啊我去问问 然后我在那封email里斟酌字句 尽可能礼貌地表达我的目的 Dr. E是个回复email很快 很有效率的人 这是我的第一印象 “Hi Ng, Dr. M has told me about this.
